Oscar Isaac has been cast in a new Netflix TV show about Las Vegas.

Isaac recently starred in the second season of Beef, which is now available to watch on the Netflix streaming service. Known for playing Moon Knight in the MCU, Isaac also recently played Dr. Victor Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein movie.

What do we know about the new Las Vegas Netflix show with Oscar Isaac?

Per Tudum, Isaac has now been tapped to star in a new, still untitled series about Las Vegas for Netflix. Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, the new series comes from showrunners and writers Brian Koppelman and David Levien.

A description of the series reads, “The hourlong drama is set in the high-stakes, sharp-elbowed present-day Las Vegas casino business, which is a modernized but still dangerous version of the legendary city. At the center of it all stands Robert ‘Bobby Red’ Redman, president of the hottest hotel casino in town, who has to make some long odds moves to try and secure his position and take more ground.”

Isaac is playing Bobby Red in the show. Additional casting has not yet been announced.

Koppelman, Levien, and Isaac also serve as executive producers alongside Scorsese, as do Julie Yorn, Rick Yorn, Paul Schiff, Beth Schacter, and J.C. Chandor. Chandor directs the first two episodes, while Kerry Orent serves as a co-executive producer.

A release date for the new Las Vegas show with Oscar Isaac has not yet been announced by Netflix.

Isaac will, however, soon be seen in a new Netflix movie, titled In the Hand of Dante. Directed by Julian Schnabel, that movie is based on a 2002 novel by Nick Tosches. It co-stars Gal Gadot, Gerard Butler, Scorsese, John Malkovich, Al Pacino, Jason Momoa, and more. In the Hand of Dante arrives on the streaming platform later this year.
